Talking about people who have invested their lives unconditionally committed to alleviating the plight of the less-privileged in Nigeria, the name Olakanmi Isiaka Gbadamosi would no doubt be on the top list.
Olakanmi Isiaka Gbadamosi is an indigene of Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State, Nigeria.
An ardent believer in the ability of man to determine his destiny, Olakanmi Isiaka Gbadamosi believes that with hard work, faith in God, honesty and objective planning, all good things are possible and his life has been a fitting testimony to this belief.
WASC, BSC, Economics Degree and Career Path in CBN
He started his educational career at the Methodist Primary School II, Oke-Ado Ibadan and proceeded to the prestigious Bishop Philips Academy, Ibadan where he sat for his WASC examination. He did his advanced level studies and passed four papers at the GCE Level, which qualified him for admission to read Economics at the University of Ibadan where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics.
Mr. Olakanmi Isiaka Gbadamosi joined the services of the Central Bank of Nigeria and worked in different directorate of the bank. He was the only director that headed four different departments in the Central Bank of Nigeria because of his multi-disciplinary Background.

He was admitted to the University of Benin, Benin City in 1988, to study Law and obtained a Bachelor of Law degree in 1992. He attended the Nigerian Law School where he obtained BL Barrister at Law degree in 1993.
Olakanmi Isiaka Gbadamosi was admitted to Lagos State University, Lagos for Masters of Law program where he obtained LLM degree in 2000.
He secured admission with the University of Abuja after his retirement from the service of the CBN where he studied for his Masters degree in Economics.

* Chairman of the Committee on the Reviewed Nigerian Foreign Exchange.
As a Lover of Human Capacity Development
Olakanmi Isiaka Gbadamosi’s interest in Educational development is evident from his own educational pursuit from childhood. Having obtained a degree in Economics from one of the most prestigious university in the country still decided to pursue another degree in Law which shows his love for capacity building for an average human being. Even with the two degrees he still pursued other professional qualifications as a way of improving his skill and competencies.
Presently, he has a number of students on his scholarship as his own contribution to the development of the society. To also confirm his love for educational pursuit, he facilitated some of the Central bank of Nigeria’s intervention projects in Oyo State. These include:
* The reconstruction of Bishop Philips’s Academy, Iwo Road, Ibadan.
* The construction of blocks of offices and auditorium at the newly established Oyo State University of Technology, Ibadan.
* The Construction of the Centre of Excellence at the University of Ibadan.
As a Private Legal Practitioner
Olakanmi Isiaka Gbadamosi is currently the Principal Partner at Kanmi Gbadamosi and Associates, a flourishing Law firm with Head office in Abuja and a branch office in Lagos. He strongly believes in the rule of law and the supremacy of the Nigerian Constitution. He believes in Legal maxim that says, “For every injury, there must be a remedy” which has made him to veer into offering free legal services for glaring cases of human rights abuses.
As a Family Man
Mr. Gbadamosi is married to Mrs. Duroorike Funke Gbadamosi and their marriage is blessed with three children.
His interests include playing tennis, debating and listening to Igbo, Hausa and Yoruba traditional music.
Olakanmi Isiaka Gbadamosi believes that no matter the height he has attained in life, his greatest joy is in identifying with his family, his roots, the poor and less privileged in the society.
In his philanthropic and humanitarian contributions, Olakanmi Isiaka Gbadamosi has sponsored many Nigerians, many of whom are now university graduates and doing great in their respective fields.
